Do you feel appreciated when your dog is greeting you with much enthusiasm as you get home from work or school? It feels amazing, isn’t it? Now, it’s your time to show your furry best friend some love.

Here are 5 ways to show your dog how much he means to you.

Take him out for a walk

It may be dark and cold outside, but you don’t need to stay out there for a very long time. Take him out for a few minutes just to provide him with his daily exercise need. If the weather is good, then go ahead and take a long walk. Your dog will not only feel delighted, you’ll feel much better as well.

Playtime!

Playing with your dog is one of the easiest ways to create some bonding time. So why not play fetch, hide and seek or tug-of-war?

Your dog knows you’d rather be sitting in front of the computer or watching TV during your spare time. So, spending time with him will show him how much you care.

Feed him the good stuff

They say, “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach”. And we believe that this also applies to our dogs.

Feed him with high quality food and treats. Also, we suggest that you make some homemade treats from time to time. Your dogs will surely love them. Just be sure not to over feed him. Obesity is just as bad for dogs as it is for people.

Reward him

Treats and toys are always a great way to show appreciation. Give your dog some plush toys, squeaky, bones or stuffed kong. If you want to go big, you can give him a comfy new bed. Now that he has his own bed, maybe he’ll quit trying to steal your spot.

Give him a rubdown

Got 10 minutes? Then give your pet a good rubdown. They love neck and tummy scratches and massages. If you do this, your dog will think he hit the jackpot.
