Contrary to popular belief, dogs are not strictly carnivorous. They also eat fruits and vegetables. Since many of you promised to eat healthy this year, why not include your pet in your journey to a healthier lifestyle? Some of the fruits and vegetables you eat can be given to your furry best friend as treats. Not only are they nutritious, they also make a tasty snack. Be careful, though, since not all are safe for pets.

Toss those commercial pet treats and hit the produce section. It’s time to feed your pets with healthy and tasty snacks.
